By downloading, installing, or using the Islamy app (the "App") and the islamyapp.com website (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or the Site.
The service
Islamy provides prayer times, the Holy Qur'ān, a Qibla compass, and a collection of adhkār. The App is provided free of charge, with no ads, and works fully offline.
License
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App or any part of it without prior written permission.
Accuracy of religious content
Prayer times are calculated from your device location using established astronomical methods. Qibla direction is calculated against your device's magnetometer. While every effort is made to be accurate, Islamy is a tool — please consult qualified scholars for matters of religious obligation, and verify critical information independently.
Your data
Your location, bookmarks, history, and counters live on your device. They are not uploaded, sold, or used to profile you. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party services (such as Apple App Store or Google Play for distribution and crash reporting). Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App or Site.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App or Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
